Jaipur is seeking a problem-solving, entrepreneurial individual to help shape the strategy for our high-growth rug categories.
The ideal candidate is an energetic team player who understands how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and growing company. The Category Manager will be responsible for growing sales while improving profitability, including identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships, expanding the catalog, negotiating with key suppliers on pricing, and developing a competitive strategy.
You will be expected to define overarching goals and strategy for the category, articulate and execute against tactical plans, and manage key business metrics. Category Managers must be able to expertly negotiate internally and externally, while also being an effective project manager. This is a highly cross-functional role and collaborating across internal teams will be critical to achieving your objectives.
