Graphic & Post Production Artist

The Graphic & Post Production Artist will provide the team with creative and effective design solutions that help our marketing communications materials grab attention. The GPP will generate and manipulate graphic images into various desktop media projects. The GPP is responsible for ensuring that every image produced by JLI meets our graphic standards, and for communicating the availability of images to the team.  The GPP will make recommendations on style or graphical elements used or follow existing theme.


Additional duties may be assigned.  Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position.

Post Production:

  • Process all color correction, tone and greyscale, photo editing and data merges in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with readying files for print, Web and research use.
  • Adhere to brand standards across marketing pieces.
  • Make corrections to marketing pieces with a focused attention to detail, responding to feedback from marketing and crossfunctional team members.
  • Create and manage the digital assets library.
  • Manage, train and measure post-production vendors to ensure they adhere to JLI standards.
  • Work crossfunctionally to decrease post production outsourcing/image on an annual basis by regularly meeting with Photography, internal stakeholders and vendors to improve on the ask, capture, editing and delivery of final images.
  • Increase the speed and efficiency of Post Production work and Post Production Vendors, seeking year-on-year gains in the amount and complexity of images and videos processed in the same time frame with the same resources.
  • Upload, download, format, etc. files for marketing use
  • Communicate clearly with team members when files are ready for use, in process, etc.

Graphic Design:

  • Assist with graphic design jobs as needed, including eblasts, collateral, signage, digital advertising, Web pages, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies
  • Highly proficient in all design aspects
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
  • Awareness of social media, digital advertising, print and other photo/video/display standards
  • Familiarity with camera capture and output techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of PhotoShop and Adobe Creative Suite, LightRoom, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Experience with video capture and editing a plus, including experience with video editing suites such as After Effects, Adobe Premier and QuickTime
  • Experience and editing of 3D images a plus, including understanding GoogleSketchUp, AutoDesk, manipulation of photography sets, CGI and the like
