E-Commerce Account Manager

Additional duties may be assigned.  Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position.

  • Take responsibility and accountability for alignment of account relationship to ensure the needs of the account are being supported within the organization
  • Develop and maintain reporting to monitor performance, product sales and trends to be shared within the organization
  • Ensure each account meets and/or exceeds sales goals and gross margin objectives
  • Utilize item data master sheet to fill in excel spec sheets, per individual account requirements before uploading to retailer portals
  • Work closely with creative and photography teams to produce lifestyle and product imagery, per individual account request
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with inventory planner; utilize customer analytics and forecasting to determine proper inventory levels
  • Facilitate internal and external communication regarding company directives, closeouts and promotions; ensuring inventory turns at an appropriate rate
  • Collaborate cross functionally to identify opportunities for product development based on competitive research and market trends
  • Work with customer service and operations departments to troubleshoot customer inquiries and concerns
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives by account to internal and external stakeholders

  • Marketing, Sales, or Account Management experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Ability to take direction
  • Work and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, and deadline-driven
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, and ambitious in nature
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment
  • Willing and available to travel for trade shows and to key accounts as needed
  • Background in retail or merchandising preferred
  • Strong interest in the home furniture, home décor, interiors, or lifestyle markets is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while paying strict attention to detail
