Customer Care Specialist

SUMMARY

The Customer Care Specialist recognizes the importance of every customer and sales representative interaction and will take all necessary steps to analyze and rectify all requests and concerns, following-up in a timely manner.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties may be assigned.  Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position.

  • Receives, processes, and prioritizes all orders
  • Provides order acknowledgement within 4 hours of order receipt to customers and sales reps
  • Request payment for all prepay orders
  • Processes payments via Desktop
  • Ensures that all orders ship within 24 hours and communicates issues and solutions immediately to customers and sales reps
  • Resolves all inquiries/escalations within 24 hrs.
  • Responds to all emails in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintains and updates customer files and orders
  • Work with Accounting department to efficiently process new accounts and their opening order
  • Handle Return inquiries are needed
  • All other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have excellent written and communication skills
  • Must have strong follow up skills
  • Must excel in a fast paced environment
  • Must have basic accounting knowledge in order to process customer payments and post them to customer account
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Must have at least 1 year B2B Customer Service Experience

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred
