Marketing Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties may be assigned.  Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position.

  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional partners to execute cohesive marketing and communication tools needed to drive incremental sales, including but not limited to: promotional activity, in-store program for retailers, POP, signage, packaging to grow market share, etc.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure marketing programs are aligned with sales goals
  • Partner with Creative and Design teams to develop content strategy and execute across all channels
  • Develop sales promotion strategies to drive traffic and conversation at trade shows and with retail partners
  • Oversee the production of catalogue, print ads, social media, public relations, and email marketing campaigns
  • Build and execute marketing calendar
  • Develop comprehensive plans from audience selection to offer and messaging strategy, vehicle selection, creative development, evaluation and optimization in alignment with goals
  • Manage agencies in creation of online and offline marketing initiatives including direct mail, email, collateral, signage, displays, ads (online and offline), events and web page content
  • Provide agency partners with well-thought out, effectively written creative briefs and evaluate creative output against briefs in an objective, articulate, constructive manner
  • Own the holistic lead management database messaging capabilities for the division, responsible for all triggered emails, e-blasts, and messages sent on behalf of individual communities and/or at the request of individual sales counselors
  • Serve as market expert responsible for monitoring competitive activity online
  • Set performance goals for and deliver programs with a focus on optimizing Cost/Lead, Cost/Sale and ROI
  • Monitor community traffic on a weekly basis to identify trends, evaluate communities behind traffic / sales goals, and make marketing plan recommendations to improve performance
  • Utilize Salesforce and Pardot toolset to measure marketing effectiveness and gain insight into performance by traffic source to optimize performance and prioritize vehicles driving results
  • Review Google Analytics and digital media reports to ask probing questions, provide agency partners with appropriate guidance and regularly optimize media mix to drive ROI
  • Issue performance reports to key constituents on an ongoing and ad hoc basis
  • Evaluate and manage online content to ensure adherence to brand standards and drive consistent impact to conversion metrics
  • Collaborate with Creative and Design departments to book and manage photo shoots on a timely basis in accordance with guidelines, updating photo library and websites with new product photography
  • All other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years in a marketing role with increasing responsibilities Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA a plus
  • Possess an innate marketing acumen and a passion for the consumer
  • Track record of success in B2B marketing and/or sales enablement
  • Creative problem solver with strong business acumen
  • Possess an innate marketing acumen and a passion for the consumer
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, superior communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to build effective partnerships and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
  • Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority
  • Experience working with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Ability to travel to trade shows
